Exchange Administrator Support Specialist
Job Location: Mumbai
Significant duties and responsibilities for this assignment
  • Provide support for the Exchange infrastructure and potentially work on Exchange 2010 project
  • Protects client data and resources from accidental or intentional disclosure, modification and destruction by unauthorized personnel
  • Develops, follows, and/or implements Exchange policies, strategies, guidelines, standards and procedures.
  • Performs research on Exchange technologies and tools, designs and implements Exchange architecture, implements and upgrades products
  • Provides enterprise risk assessment mechanisms and reporting
  • Interfaces with business partners to:
    • Understand their Exchange needs
    • Design, develop or recommend integrated Exchange solutions
    • Implement and support solutions
Basic Qualifications Minimum of three years of experience with at least three of the following:
  • Windows 2000/2003 server support skills
  • Active Directory experience
  • Knowledge of Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010
  • IIS/Exchange experience
  • Scripting experience (VB)
  • NT experience
  • Knowledge of a Windows domain environment
  • Knowledge of and experience in SFPM
Preferred skills/experience:
  • Exchange 2010 experience
  • Applied knowledge of Service Manager
Professional skills/experience:
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Windows Administrator- L1-L2-L3

Skills Required Primary / Secondary:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in handling Enterprise wide Windows Server (cluster / load balanced).
  • Knowledge of NIS, DNS and DHCP and networking protocols such as TCP/IP.
  • Strong troubleshooting and application integration skills.
  • Should have sound knowledge of Windows Domain architecture, Active Directory network infrastructure including LAN/WAN concepts and detailed information on the security concepts of the domain.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily activities including management, zoning, allocations, troubleshooting, and debugging.
  • Provide status reporting (availability, performance capacity utilization) as required.
  • Must be able to use Storage Management tools to discover, monitor, provision and report on the storage infrastructure.
  • Proactively maintain system integrity supporting change management, system backup and disaster recovery, problem management, peripheral connectivity and release distribution.
  • Evaluate, install and configure system administration support tools and third-party application software.
  • Write shell scripts to automate various system administration tasks.
  • Document software and system configuration.
  • Provide system hardware/software consulting for client/server environment to other ITD and user departments.

Monitoring Engineer L1-L2

  • Monitoring & Alert Management Monitoring, Analysis, Correlation, Email Notification, Resolution and Ticketing to be performed using monitoring and management tools.
